Asmodee Entertainment and Cornerstone Software Development, Inc. proudly invite investigators, mercenaries, cultists and private eyes the world over to relive an adventure like no other! The award-winning board game, Eldritch Horror, has lovingly been brought to life in digital format to welcome new and old players alike. Featuring the beloved characters and mechanics, faithfully adapted to a new medium, the digital edition of Eldritch Horror also enhances the experience with voiced dialogue, faster gameplay and music dripping in 1920s occult aesthetic.
In this game of mystery and terror, players will need to assemble a team from all walks of life. Ex-soldiers, psychic mediums, grizzled sailors, reformed cultists and more will be needed to thwart the rise of the incomprehensible Ancient Ones. These unfathomable beings are awoken by cultists and monsters across the world in veiled conspiracies and secret rites. Players will need to race against time as the doom of the world steadily advances towards them.
They will not be alone, however. Cunning players can arm their teams with fresh allies, archaic artifacts and thematic weapons in order to push back against the encroaching darkness. Discretion is critical though as the eldritch forces will not wait or rest, even when the investigators must.
The world will quickly hurtle towards rescue or defeat as the digital medium eliminates bookkeeping for players. Eldritch Horror will now feature sped up gameplay as all of the token, card and records are handled digitally: allowing players to experience adventure after adventure without the wait.
We will share more news about this new video game as we draw closer to release. Wishlist on Steam now!
