Arkham Horror Events at Gen Con 2026

In a secret chamber lit only by candles, robed cultists intone the eldritch incantations, heralding the opening of a gate to the “Best Four Days in Gaming.”

Event registration for Gen Con opens Sunday, May 17 (learn more at GenCon.com). This year, there will be ticketed events for Arkham Horror: The Card Game as well as Arkham Horror: The Roleplaying Game. No matter whether you’ve only just started playing or a longtime fan looking for a glimpse of this fall’s new releases, you’ll find what you’re looking for in the Gen Con events catalog. Keep reading for an overview of the events sponsored by Fantasy Flight Games and Edge Studios.

Arkham Horror: The Card Game.

Children of Blood

For players who have some experience with Arkham Horror: The Card Game, you can bring your own investigator deck to play the upcoming campaign expansion, Children of Blood. Something is stalking the streets after nightfall; can you solve the mystery of Arkham’s Waterfront district? This event begins daily at noon.

Arkham Horror: The Roleplaying Game.

Welcome to Promise

You don’t need to have played any roleplaying games before to enjoy this introduction to Arkham Horror: The Roleplaying Game. “Welcome to Promise” is a one-and-a-half-hour demo with 1-6 players, run by an experienced Game Master. All materials will be provided for play, and the players have the chance at the first look of Arkham Horror’s brand-new starter set, Welcome to Promise, and play through the adventure’s first act. Multiple sessions are offered daily.

We look forward to gaming with you this year in Indianapolis!
