Every year, more than 700 stores worldwide take part in Free RPG Day, a day celebrating roleplaying games. Participating retailers run events and give away new adventures, quick-start guides, accessories, and more. This year, Free RPG Day is Saturday, June 27, 2026, and Arkham Horror: The Roleplaying Game will be featured once again! If you’re interested in trying the RPG, this is a great opportunity to do so.
As part of Free RPG Day, Edge Studio is releasing Three Days to the Big Easy, a quickstart adventure for the Arkham Horror RPG:
As passengers on a luxurious Mississippi paddleboat, filled with speakeasies and casinos, you’ll uncover sinister secrets hidden beneath the glamour. The mafia is pulling strings, but a vengeful curse threatens everyone aboard. As investigators, it’s up to you to untangle a web of crime, curses, and dark forces before it’s too late!
The adventure is designed to be played over the course of three to four hours. It is intended for four to seven players, with most taking on the role of the player characters (“investigators”), and one of them taking on the role of game master. The booklet includes rules for how to play the game as well as pre-built character sheets for six investigators from across the Arkham Horror universe.
