The Kingsport Metamorphosis by Jonathan Green, the third in the series of Arkham Horror Investigators Gamebooks from Aconyte Books, is out now! In this latest standalone adventure, an eccentric recluse, Elijah Harcourt, has invited you to his ancient manse in Kingsport, with the promise of revealing to you something that “lies beyond the borders of this world.” From there, the choices you make – along with tests of Willpower, Intellect and Combat – will guide you through the gamebook and determine your fate…
Choose Your Investigator
The Kingsport Metamorphosis introduces three new investigators for you to play as: the psychic, Jaqueline Fine, the poet, Lucius Galloway, and the actress, Lola Hayes. You can also play as any of the previously published investigators, all of which you can find as downloadable character sheets here. And, to mark the release of The Kingsport Metamorphosis, we are also releasing a brand-new DLC investigator, available to download for free – the nun, Sister Mary. You can find her character sheet to download now on the downloads page.
Continuing the Adventure
Like the other instalments in the series, The Kingsport Metamorphosis presents a standalone adventure, so there’s no need to have played either The Darkness Over Arkham or Tides of Innsmouth. If you have played previous adventures, though, you also have the option of continuing to play with the same investigator, using the experience rules included in the book, which permanently alter your skills and other stats based on how you and your investigator have fared over the course of previous volumes. (And you can read more about the experience rules here.).
The Kingsport Metamorphosis is available now in paperback and ebook. Ask for it wherever you buy books or find a retailer here.
