“This uniform means something. I’m reminded of that every time I put it on.”

Most members of the Muldoon family are part of the Boston police force in some way or another. Not long ago, the youngest Muldoon brother, Tommy, got his badge. Armed with an eye for detail, fierce courage, and his trusty rifle, Becky, Tommy is dedicated to law enforcement… but when he was loaned out to the Sheriff’s Department in Arkham, he found that he was not prepared for the bizarre crimes cropping up in this strange town. Even so, whether the crime scene is a smoky speakeasy or a bloodstained altar, Tommy will not rest until he can bring the culprit to justice.

The Story Continues…

When he was the rookie cop, Tommy thought there was no such thing as real monsters. After he got loaned out to the sleepy river town of Arkham, he learned he couldn’t have been more wrong. Despite still being “the new guy,” he’s pretty sure he’s seen far more out on the beat than anyone else on the force. Now he’s working hard to prove he’s not a laughingstock to the rest of the department. And with his recent promotion to officer, he’s been entrusted with looking into cases that have gone unsolved too long. He’s quickly learning that not all monsters have fangs and tentacles.

As he discovers uncanny links between a series of violent cold cases, he finds himself teaming up with an unlikely partner in Bullets in the Dark by Cath Lauria, a thrilling noir adventure accompanying the release of Arkham Horror: The Card Game Chapter Two. He also walks the beat through the ruined streets of Arkham in the new Guardian evergreen investigator deck for Arkham Horror: The Card Game.
