“No more ‘Miss Barnes’ from you. My friends call me Jenny.”

Jenny Barnes has spent the majority of her young life in pursuit of creature comforts, fine dining, and the latest fashions. That all changed when she received a letter from her sister, Isabelle. In this letter, Isabelle confessed that mysterious forces were aligning against her and that she feared she may fall victim to some paranormal threat. It was the last letter Jenny received from her beloved sister. Jenny has since returned to the States to track down and investigate all occult occurrences she can find. Hardly a wilting flower, she has proven herself a crack shot as well as a fearless and clever investigator of the unknown. Until Isabelle’s disappearance is explained, Jenny will never relent in her search.

The Story Continues…

Arkham, Massachusetts, is a far cry from Jenny’s usual haunts on the Riviera or in the City of Light, but the dreary New England town is where Izzie’s trail leads. As Jenny hunts for clues as to her sister’s whereabouts, she quickly realizes that Izzie isn’t the only girl in Arkham who’s gone missing. The disappearances seem to be connected, and the flyers for the local harvest festival depict the face from a medallion Jenny sent her sister—a copy of the one Jenny herself had found at an archaeological dig in the Italian Alps. As Jenny investigates, she comes face to face with a nefarious cult, but the cult leader manages to stay one step ahead of her—with Jenny’s sister in tow.

Desperate to track them down, she approaches Private Investigator Joe Diamond to see if he’ll take the case. Joe may not understand her story of blasphemous rituals and sacrifices, but he understands loss. Together, Joe and Jenny will follow a perilous path—but the greatest terror awaits them somewhere far beyond the town of Arkham, Massachusetts…
