Five Years On, Mystery Remains…

The year is 1913. The steamship SS Atlantica sets out on its voyage across the Atlantic Ocean, bound for Boston, Massachusetts. But when a body is discovered in the ship’s chapel, surrounded by signs of a strange ritual, three days into the voyage, tensions rise. As passengers and crew find themselves plagued by strange nightmares, and rumors circulate of dark shapes in the water, it seems that the Atlantica may never reach its destination…

Years later, the answers seem little clearer…

The story of the SS Atlantica began five years ago, with the release of Unfathomable, the game of hidden loyalties, intrigue and paranoia. This week, to celebrate the anniversary, along with Fantasy Flight Games, we’ve been returning to the mystery on social media.

And we’re not the only ones.

It seems that ever since the Atlantica‘s original voyage, one of Arkham’s many heroic – but, in this case, nameless – investigators has been doggedly pursuing the case, ever since reports of mysterious goings on aboard the ship first reached the shore. And now, as we close out the week of celebration, you can examine the evidence for yourself.
