Today, we continue with recaps of this year’s Week of Arkham Horror livestreams for those who couldn’t follow along live. Tuesday’s livestream was hosted by Fantasy Flight Games’ Olivia Sheppard, joined by designers from Edge Studio as well as FFG’s Living Card Game and Board Game teams. Highlights from the more-than-two-hour livestream include:
A celebration of all things Arkham Horror and a look at the myriad tabletop games available.
Edge Studio’s Leah Hawthorne and Samuel Gregor-Stewart discussed what roleplaying games are and what makes Arkham Horror: The Roleplaying Game unique, previewed some of the content from Songs of New Orleans, and announced the next Arkham Horror RPG release (which we’ll have more on later today).
FFG designers Reid Bradshaw, Duke Harrist, and Philip Henry joined Leah and Samuel for a roundtable discussion on adding horror to tabletop games, talking about how to create suspense and mess with players’ expectations, as well as tips for how players can set the mood at their own game tables.
Check out all the full livestream in the video below and check back here later for more on some of these exciting announcements!

The witching hour draws nigh, and ghosts, monsters, and worse lurk in the darkness suffocating Arkham’s streets. Besides possessing your own Elder Sign Amulet, there’s perhaps no better way to defend oneself against Hallowe’en haunts than to gather ’round the gaming table with some friends and a box or two of unrelenting horrors. We caught […]
